Preparation

  • Start by seasoning the chicken tenderloins with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until hot. Add the chicken and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Transfer the chicken to a plate and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Add the Dijon mustard followed by the heavy cream. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  • Return the tenderloins to the skillet and coat them with the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with sides like rice or steamed vegetables.

Notes

For a lighter option, replace heavy cream with unsweetened coconut cream. Storing leftovers in an airtight container will keep them fresh for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on stovetop or microwave.
