  • 1 pound cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced Adds protein and heartiness.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the chicken.

Cheese Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese For that classic gooey, cheesy goodness.
  • 1 cup ranch dressing The secret ingredient that adds flavor and creaminess.
  • 1 cup milk To create a luscious sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder For an extra layer of taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Essential for seasoning.

Optional Toppings

Instructions

Cooking the Pasta

  • Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sautéing the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cooked chicken and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until warmed through.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to low. Stir in the ranch dressing, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet, stirring to coat the pasta thoroughly in the ranch sauce.

Adding Cheese

  • Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until the dish is gooey and the cheese has melted completely.

Optional Baking

  • If you prefer a baked version, transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.

Serving

  • Dish out your Chicken Ranch Macaroni and Cheese and savor every creamy, cheesy bite!
