Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

For the pastry

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted For brushing on top

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Flatten each biscuit slightly into a circular shape.
  • Spoon the chicken mixture onto the center of each flattened biscuit.
  • Fold the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter and place in a greased baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffy.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For substitutions, shredded turkey or plant-based protein can be used. Avoid overfilling the bites to prevent leaking during baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze before baking.
