Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Use your favorite cheese
  • 4 large tortillas or bread slices Choose your preferred type

Sauce and Seasoning

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional chopped herbs (e.g., parsley, cilantro) For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well-coated.
  • Lay out the tortillas or bread on a baking sheet and spoon portions of the chicken mixture onto each. Sprinkle cheese on top.

Baking

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Serving

  • Serve warm, garnished with optional herbs if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
