  • 2 cups cooked pasta (e.g., rotini or penne) Cook according to package instructions.
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced Grill or bake until no longer pink.
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped Wash well before chopping.
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved Add freshness to the salad.

Cooking and Preparation

  • Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta al dente for 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • If not already cooked, grill or bake the chicken until no longer pink in the center. Let cool slightly, then dice.
  • While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the romaine lettuce and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced chicken, chopped romaine, halved cherry tomatoes, and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Pour Caesar dressing over the mixture, season with salt and pepper, and toss everything together until well combined.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature, ideally paired with bread.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using yogurt-based dressing. Avoid adding the dressing until just before serving to prevent sogginess.
