Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients to make the cooking process smoother.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, add the softened cream cheese. Stir occasionally until it begins to melt.
  • Once the cream cheese is melted, add in the can of Rotel and continue to stir until well combined.
  • Slowly integrate the shredded cheese, mixing until it’s melted into the mixture.
  • Sprinkle in the ranch seasoning mix, stirring to evenly distribute the spices throughout the mixture.
  • Slowly add milk, stirring until you reach your desired consistency. If you prefer it thinner, add a bit more milk.
  • Once everything is melted and creamy, remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Top with your choice of jalapeños, green onions, or cilantro if desired. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavor. This dip can be made ahead of time and reheated gently.
