  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese with almond flour and microwave for about 1 minute until melted. Stir well until combined.
  • Beat the egg in a separate bowl, then add it to the cheese mixture along with garlic powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • If desired, add optional herbs for extra flavor.
  • Mix until a dough-like consistency forms. If it's too sticky, add more almond flour.
  • Spread the mixture on the prepared baking sheet into a rectangle or circle about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly, slice, and enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For cheese options, feel free to experiment with different types. Adjust garlic powder to your taste. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days or freeze for longer storage.
