Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Mixture

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Shredded cooked chicken adds protein.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can be substituted with mozzarella.
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced Fresh minced garlic for flavor.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Adds creaminess to the filling.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 large tortillas For wrapping the chicken mixture.
  • Lettuce leaves Add for freshness and crunch.
  • Sliced tomatoes Optional, for added flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, minced garlic, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Assembly

  • Lay out the large tortillas and place a generous portion of the chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla. Add fresh lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes if desired.
  • Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it tightly from the bottom up, encasing all the filling.

Cooking

  • If you enjoy a crispy wrap, place the wrapped tortillas, seam-side down, in a lightly greased skillet over medium heat. Cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Slice each wrap in half, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

Substitute cheddar with mozzarella or add grilled vegetables for extra flavor. Prepare the chicken mixture a day in advance and store in an airtight container. Avoid overstuffing the wraps to prevent tearing. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
