Ingredients
  

For the dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crab meat, cooked fresh or canned
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • a pinch salt, to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and mayonnaise. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in the crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, smoked paprika, and salt gently.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased oven-safe skillet or baking dish and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For variations, try different kinds of cheese or add red pepper flakes for extra heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
