Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash the asparagus under cold water and trim off the tough ends.
  • On a baking sheet, lay out the asparagus in a single layer, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the coated asparagus. Optionally, add a dusting of grated Parmesan on top.

Cooking

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Serving
