Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

Cheesecake Crescent Rolls are a delightfully flaky and creamy treat that’s filled with a dreamy cheesecake filling and a touch of vanilla. They’re not heavy or overly sweet either.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Fill the Rolls: Place a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture at the wider end of each triangle. Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the pointed end, enclosing the filling.
  • Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush with Butter: Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with melted butter.
  • Cinnamon Sugar Topping: In a small bowl, mix the 1/4 cup granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the buttered crescent rolls.
  • Bake the Rolls: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the crescent rolls to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
