Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the Ground Beef:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and onion, cooking until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain any excess grease.
Season the Meat:
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the beef with seasonings.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a mixing bowl, combine the condensed soup and milk. Stir until smooth. Add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and mix until incorporated.
Assemble the Casserole:
Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pour the soup mixture over the beef, spreading it out evenly. Top with a single layer of frozen tater tots.
Bake the Casserole:
Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top, and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the tater tots are golden brown.
Serve:
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
