Pasta

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh shrimp for the best taste.
  • 1 lb steak, sliced Cook to your desired doneness.
  • 2 cups heavy cream Can be substituted with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Additional Parmesan can be sprinkled for serving.
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning Adjust to taste preferences.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the shrimp and Cajun seasoning, and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced steak and cook to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta, shrimp, and steak to the sauce, mixing to combine. Season with salt and pepper.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

If you have leftovers, place them in an airtight container and refrigerate. Good for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of cream to loosen the sauce if necessary.
