  • 1-2 sticks Butter Melt to taste.

Preparation

  • Husk the corn by removing the outer green husk and silk, ensuring the corn is clean.
  • In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil, enough to completely submerge the corn.

Cooking

  • Carefully add the corn to the boiling water, cover the pot, and cook for about 7-10 minutes until tender.
  • While the corn is boiling, melt your desired amount of butter in a separate saucepan or microwave-safe bowl.
  • Using tongs, carefully remove the corn from the pot, let it drain, and serve hot with melted butter and a sprinkle of salt.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with toppings like smoked paprika, fresh herbs, or lime juice. Leftover corn can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, steam gently or microwave briefly.
