  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Use leftover or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Adjust according to your spice tolerance.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Reserve some for topping.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the ranch dressing until smooth.
  • Add in the buffalo sauce and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Stir in the shredded chicken thoroughly to coat all pieces with the sauce.
  • Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, keeping some aside for topping.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or microwave individual portions until warmed through. Prepare ahead of time and refrigerate unbaked.
