Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli, chopped Use fresh for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt More for seasoning the chicken.
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper More for seasoning the chicken.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For rubbing on the chicken.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix the chopped broccoli, cream cheese, shredded cheese, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika until everything is combined into a creamy filling.
  • Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Make a pocket in each chicken breast by slicing the side without cutting all the way through.
  • Fill each chicken breast pocket with the broccoli mixture, being careful not to overstuff.

Cooking

  • Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil in the last 5 minutes to let the tops become golden and bubbly.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

To elevate your meal, serve with roasted vegetables, Caesar salad, or creamy mashed potatoes. For drinks, a crisp glass of white wine or sparkling water with lemon complements the dish perfectly.
