Ingredients

For the Cheese Mixture

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning

For the Burritos

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup cooked tortilla chips, crushed optional, for crunch
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced optional, for heat
  • Salsa and sour cream for serving, optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, and taco seasoning. Mix until well combined.

Assembly

  • Lay out a tortilla on a flat surface. Place a generous amount of the cheese mixture in the center. If you like, add crushed tortilla chips and jalapeño slices for extra crunch and heat.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly to secure the filling.

Cooking

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the burrito seam-side down in the skillet. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the pan and let cool slightly. Slice in half and serve with salsa and sour cream on the side.

Notes

Feel free to swap out cheeses or toppings based on your preferences. Avoid overstuffing the burritos to prevent bursting while grilling.
