For the Rolls

  • 1 can crescent roll dough Use refrigerated crescent roll dough.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Should be at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Fresh or frozen berries work well.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar For the filling.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor to the cream cheese filling.
  • 1 each egg (for egg wash) Beaten, to brush on rolls before baking.
  • optional additional powdered sugar for dusting For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and mixed berries. Stir until well blended.
  • Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it.
  • Place a generous tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangular piece of dough. Roll tightly from the wide end.
  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with beaten egg.

Baking

  • Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These rolls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven to maintain freshness.
