Ingredients
  

Meat and Vegetables

  • 1 pound ground beef You can substitute with pre-cooked ground beef or turkey.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can swap with cream of chicken soup if preferred.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 small onion, chopped

Topping

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuits Any variety of biscuits can be used.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional) Cheddar biscuits can be used for added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing the onion.
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and frozen mixed vegetables until well combined and heated through.
  • Pour the beef mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Open the package of biscuits and place them on top of the beef mixture, spacing them evenly. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top if desired.

Baking

  • Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuit tops are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze portions for up to three months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for best results.
