  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

Preparation

  • Begin by greasing a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter while stirring continuously.
  • Once the butter is completely melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir until they have melted down and are smooth.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the instant banana pudding mix and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  • Stir in the milk gradually to create a nice, creamy consistency.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and press down with a spatula to create an even layer.
  • Allow the treats to cool for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For a unique twist, use flavored Rice Krispies or add crushed nuts. Be patient while cooling to maintain shape. Avoid overcooking marshmallows.
