Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to prepare the lemon sauce.
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they are evenly spaced.
  • Generously drizzle the lemon sauce over the salmon fillets, ensuring each piece is well-coated.

Cooking

  • Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once out of the oven, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top if desired. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

Choose fresh salmon for the best flavor. Letting the salmon sit in the sauce for 15 minutes before baking can enhance the taste. If you're out of honey, maple syrup is a great substitute. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
