  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure your peaches roast perfectly.
  • Carefully cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place them cut-side up in a baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Generously sprinkle the streusel mixture over each peach half, pressing it gently to stick.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes until the peaches are tender and the streusel is golden brown.

Serving

  • Allow the baked peaches to cool slightly before serving. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

Baked peaches are best enjoyed fresh. For storage, keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. Freezing is not recommended, but if necessary, wrap each peach half tightly in plastic wrap.
