  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 each orange (zest of and juice of)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup for a vegan option

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse the cauliflower florets under cold water and pat them dry.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, orange zest, orange juice, honey (or maple syrup), salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Baking

  • In a large mixing bowl, pour the orange glaze over the cauliflower florets and toss to ensure they are evenly coated.
  • Spread the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for about 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender and caramelized around the edges.

Serving

  • Once done, remove from the oven and transfer to a serving platter.
  • Sprinkle with optional garnishes like sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  • Serve warm as a side dish or as a healthy snack.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. You can assemble everything and keep it unbaked in the fridge for up to a day.
