Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni Use al dente pasta for best results.
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese Reserve some for topping.
  • 0.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cups breadcrumbs For a crunchy topping.

Spices and Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, milk, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray. Scoop the macaroni mixture into each tin, leaving a little space at the top. Press down gently.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs over each mac and cheese bite.

Baking

  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bites are golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Let them cool for a minute before removing them from the muffin tin. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Keep a close eye on cooking time to avoid over-browning. You can mix in your favorite cheeses for added flavor. Assemble the bites ahead of time but bake just before serving.
