Main ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (skin-on preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large lemon (juice and zest) Juice and zest of 1 large lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped Or 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Optional garnishes

  • as desired lemon slices For serving
  • as desired extra dill For serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the marinade generously over each fillet.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until opaque and flaky.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with additional lemon slices and dill as desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Choose fresh fish for the best flavor. For more flavor, marinate the salmon for 30 minutes to an hour before baking. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
