Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 block Feta Cheese (approximately 200 grams)
  • 1 cup Mixed Olives (pitted, roughly chopped) Choose your favorites!
  • ½ cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes (roughly chopped, preferably in olive oil)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (for drizzling)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (such as thyme or basil, finely chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon Chili Flakes Optional for some heat
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a ceramic or glass baking dish, place the feta cheese in the center.
  • Scatter the chopped olives and sun-dried tomatoes around the feta.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the cheese and sprinkle with fresh herbs. For those who enjoy a bit of kick, add the chili flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden on the edges.

Serving

  • Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Serve it warm with crusty bread or pita chips.

Notes

If you wish to switch out the feta, goat cheese is an excellent alternative. Keep an eye on the bake; if the feta starts to brown too quickly, cover it gently with foil. Make sure your feta is submerged in oil for that creamy texture.
