  • 1 large head large head of cauliflower, cut into florets Use fresh cauliflower for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Can use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
  • ½ cup grated cheese Optional, adds creaminess.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  • In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Lay the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake the cauliflower for about 20-25 minutes, or until fork-tender and lightly browned.
  • Mix the breadcrumbs and cheese (if using) in a separate bowl.
  • Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the cauliflower.
  • Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the topping is golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Remove the Baked Cauliflower Crisp from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for best results.
