  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets, finely chopped Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to mix with other cheese types.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder Adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a steamer or microwave, cook the finely chopped broccoli for about 2-3 minutes until tender, then let it cool slightly.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Forming and Baking

  • Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the balls with olive oil spray and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and firm to the touch.

Serving

  • Let the balls cool slightly before serving, and enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. You can customize cheese types and dips to your preference. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
