  • 2 fillets 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each) Opt for fresh salmon whenever possible.
  • 4 ounces 4 ounces Boursin cheese (garlic and herbs flavor is fantastic!) If unavailable, make a similar mixture with cream cheese, garlic, and herbs.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste Adjust according to preference.
  • Optional: Fresh herbs, such as dill or parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil. Place the salmon fillets in the dish, skin side down.
  • Drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the salmon. Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  • Scoop the Boursin cheese and spread it generously over the top of the salmon fillets.

Cooking

  • Place the salmon in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  • Once baked, remove the dish from the oven. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
