Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Peel, core, and slice your apples.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  • Grease a baking dish (about 9x13 inches) and arrange the apples evenly in the bottom.
  • Gently pour the batter over the apples, ensuring they are evenly covered.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the clafoutis is puffed and golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
