  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
  • Italian seasoning (optional, for extra flavor)

Preparation

  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about a quarter-inch thick.
  • Cut the dough into squares, roughly 3 inches by 3 inches.
  • Place a small spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each dough square, followed by a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese and a few pieces of your chosen toppings.
  • Fold the dough over to form a triangle or rectangle shape, pinching the edges well to seal the filling inside securely.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Lightly brush each pizza roll with olive oil.
  • Arrange the pizza rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
  • Once cooked, let them cool slightly before serving with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For best results, don’t overstuff the rolls and check for doneness during cooking. Experiment with different fillings for varied flavors. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for optimal crispness.
