Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved Use fresh Brussels sprouts for the best outcome.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by washing the Brussels sprouts under cool running water. Trim the ends and slice them in half for even cooking and crispy texture.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, maple syrup, and Dijon mustard until well combined.
  • Place the halved Brussels sprouts in a large bowl and pour the maple-Dijon mixture over them. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss well to ensure each sprout is coated evenly.
  • Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes to preheat.
  • Once preheated, spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding them to ensure crispiness.

Cooking

  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The sprouts should be golden brown and crispy when finished.
  • Once done, remove from the air fryer and serve immediately, drizzling with any sauce left in the bowl for extra flavor.

Notes

For batch cooking, consider air frying in batches to maintain optimal crispiness. Experiment with different seasonings or toppings for extra flavor.
