  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Use large shrimp for better texture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Preparation

  • Start by rinsing the shrimp under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
  • Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated in the garlic mixture.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the shrimp and toss gently, ensuring the cheese sticks to the shrimp.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for approximately 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are golden and opaque.
  • Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with a side of lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. To reheat, place the shrimp back in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes until warmed through.
