Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 count egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons chili paste Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, green onions, beaten egg, soy sauce, chili paste, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Using your hands, roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Ensure the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove the meatballs from the air fryer, let them rest for a few minutes, then serve with your favorite sides or sauce.

Notes

For an extra crunch, consider adding a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture. Don’t skip the resting time after cooking! It helps lock in flavors. You can freeze uncooked meatballs; place them on a tray to freeze individually before transferring them to a storage bag.
