  • 2 fillets cod fillets Fresh cod is recommended for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Used for seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning according to preference.
  • as needed Fresh lemon wedges For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Drizzle olive oil over each fillet and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring both sides are coated.
  • Carefully place the seasoned cod fillets in the air fryer basket, leaving enough space for air circulation.

Cooking

  • Air fry the cod for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is flaky and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove the cod from the air fryer, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and serve.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcrowd the air fryer. Store leftover cod in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C).
