  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (alcohol-free) Choose your favorite flavor

Instructions

Preparation

  • Rinse the beef ribs under cold water and pat them dry using paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this mixture all over the beef ribs and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • Place the seasoned beef ribs into the air fryer basket, ensuring they are in a single layer and avoiding overcrowding.

Cooking

  • Cook the beef ribs for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the barbecue sauce over the ribs to caramelize it.
  • Check for tenderness by pulling the meat apart with a fork; cook for an additional 5-10 minutes if necessary.

Serving

  • Once done, remove the ribs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with spices like smoked paprika or cumin. Ensure any substitutes are Halal-compliant. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
