Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Make sure all your ingredients are fresh for the best results!
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Flavorings

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together.
  • In another bowl, mix the melted butter and milk. Slowly pour this mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese and garlic powder to the mixture. Fold gently until the cheese is evenly distributed.
  • Lightly flour your countertop and turn out the dough. Shape small balls of dough (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on a greased baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in your preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

Finishing Touches

  • Remove from the oven and brush with a little extra melted butter. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm!

Notes

These rolls can easily be made gluten-free by using a gluten-free flour blend. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes.
