  • 1 cup Heavy cream For a rich texture.
  • 1 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese Adds flavor; freshly grated is preferred.

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your favorite pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of pasta water.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, pour in the heavy cream. Allow it to simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and creamy.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the drained pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta uniformly in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.

Serving

  • Plate up your creamy pasta and enjoy it warm. Feel free to add your favorite toppings!

Notes

For best flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency. Add flavors like minced garlic or freshly cracked pepper for a twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
