Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounce uncooked rotini pasta
  • 25 ounce jar marinara sauce
  • 3 cups water
  • 14 ounce fully-cooked miniature (cocktail-size) meatballs (if using frozen meatballs, Ensure full thawing before use).
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese are needed.

Optional: Finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and a mixture of fresh herbs such as basil, oregano, and parsley.

    Instructions
     

    • Set oven temperature to 425°F before use.
    • Mix uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, and meatballs in a 9x13 inch oven-safe dish. Add salt and mix. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
    • Remove foil, stir, and check pasta for doneness. If not al dente, cover and bake until tender.
    • Bake the dish, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes with mozzarella cheese on top until the cheese has melted and the pasta is fully cooked.
