Ingredients
  

Pasta and Cheese

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) garlic & herb Boursin cheese Use any flavor of Boursin cheese.

Cooking Liquids

  • 2 cups vegetable broth or water Broth adds more flavor.

Finishing Touches

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs (such as parsley) for garnish Enhances flavor and presentation.

Cooking the Orzo

  • In a medium pot, bring vegetable broth or water to a boil. Add the orzo pasta and a pinch of salt. Cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, or until al dente.

Combining Ingredients

  • Once the orzo is cooked, drain any excess liquid and return the orzo to the pot.
  • Immediately add the pack of Boursin cheese to the hot orzo. The heat will help melt the cheese into a creamy sauce.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and stir well until the orzo is completely coated in the Boursin, creating a luscious and creamy dish.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper. If desired, add fresh herbs for extra flavor.

Serving

  • Plate the Boursin Orzo and garnish with more herbs if desired. Enjoy your creamy, delicious creation!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of broth or water to loosen the sauce. For an extra creamy texture, try mixing in a splash of heavy cream or a dollop of sour cream along with the Boursin.
