- 4 cups water

Directions
- Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Stir and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- Mix the Dough: Add the salt and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let the Dough Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes until doubled in size.
- Prepare the Filling: While the dough is rising, shred the mozzarella cheese and set it aside.
- Shape the Pretzels: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope, flatten it slightly, and place a line of shredded mozzarella down the center. Fold the dough over the cheese and pinch the edges to seal.
- Form the Pretzels: Shape each piece into a pretzel by forming a U-shape, crossing the ends over each other, and pressing them down onto the bottom of the U.
