Irresistible Pecan Pie Bars are delightfully rich bars filled with a gooey pecan filling on a buttery shortbread crust. They’re not heavy or overly sweet either.

I think they’re perfect for any autumn or holiday gathering, and if you’re not a pecan fan, feel free to use walnuts. They will still be undeniably delicious! If you’re looking for a satisfying dessert that’s not overly sweet, you’ve come to the right place. When you make a buttery shortbread base and pair it with a caramelized pecan filling, you get the perfect bar. The addition of pecans just sends it over the top. I’ve really been in the mood for autumn flavors, and these dreamy bars remind me of fall and holiday celebrations. Not a fan of pecans? Don’t worry, it’s still delicious with walnuts.
