Bursting with savory flavors and gooey melted cheese, this dish is sure to become a family favorite. Plus, it’s versatile enough to customize with your favorite herbs and spices for a truly personalized touch.

Now, let’s gather our kitchen equipment and ingredients to create this mouthwatering dish:

Kitchen Equipment Needed:

  1. Baking dish
  2. Mixing bowl
  3. Cooking twine or toothpicks
  4. Meat mallet or rolling pin
  5. Knife

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed and finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Olive oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil and set aside.
  2. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper. Using a meat mallet or rolling pin, gently pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped broccoli florets, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, dried thyme, paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.
  5. Spoon the broccoli and cheese mixture evenly onto one side of each chicken breast.
  6. Carefully roll up each chicken breast, enclosing the broccoli and cheese filling. Secure the seams with cooking twine or toothpicks to prevent the filling from spilling out.
  7. Place the stuffed chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, seam side down.
  8. Drizzle the tops of the stuffed chicken breasts with a little olive oil, and sprinkle with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  10. Once done, remove the stuffed chicken breasts from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  11. Serve these delicious Broccoli Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breasts hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
  12. Enjoy the creamy, cheesy goodness of this comforting dish, perfect for a satisfying dinner!
